Frequently asked questions

Got questions? I’ve got answers.

  • I’m located in the Cool Springs Area of Franklin and also offer online sessions to meet your busy schedule.

4115 Mallory Lane, Suite 100 B, Franklin, TN 37067. I’m located in the State Farm building with a separate entrance on the side of the building.

  • The 50-minute session fee is $150. Likely, we will meet weekly for the first month and then decide if we want to continue to meet weekly or biweekly.

Payment is due at the end of each session and can be made via cash, check, or card (including HSA). While I do not accept insurance, I can provide a superbill (receipt), which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement if you’d like.

  • Our time will be spent getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and the goals you’re hoping to achieve. We will discuss informed consent, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have.

  • I meet with clients weekly and biweekly at minimum. This consistency maximizes the impact of the work and allows us to make legitimate progress toward your goals.

The length of therapy is highly dependent upon the person, the problem, and the goals.

Some people come for a “check in” type of experience. They only want/need a handful of sessions and feel equipped to move on. Others prefer to dive in and do deeper work and those individuals may choose to commit to longer periods of time.

  • STANDARD NOTICE

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

  • I do not accept insurance but I am happy to provide you with documentation (also known as a superbill) at the end of each month for out of network benefits. If you plan on using these benefits, I recommend that you contact your insurance company to make sure they cover out of network services and to ask how to submit for reimbursement.

I do accept HSA cards for full or partial payment.

  • I require that clients cancel 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if you provide less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation. This is necessary because the time is reserved and held exclusively for you.
